St Helens offers a corporate and service specific induction programme to all new staff. You will be included in this induction programme as a new member of staff within the authority.
All students will have a Practice Educator and support from the Work-Based Learning Officer.
The Practice Development Team support students by providing bespoke training to support practice learning and development while on placement.
Supervision provides well-being and welfare support as well as providing a space for reflective learning to support the consolidation of academic learning into practice while on placement. Students are provided with weekly supervision.
