
The ASYE Co-Ordinator's role is to:
- Co-ordinate the delivery of the ASYE programme for Children and Adult Services
- To ensure that all NQSWs are successfully registered onto the ASYE Programme, and that funding is secured for the is programme where appropriate; (through Skills for Care Portal).
- To liaise with and attend meetings of the Cheshire & Merseyside Social Work Teaching Partnership (CMSWTP) contributing to the further development of the ASYE on behalf of the Council.
- To support and monitor the implementation of the ASYE in the Council, producing at least quarterly reports for Senior Managers on the progress of the scheme and individuals enrolled on it.
- To identify, source and provide training where necessary for personnel undertaking the ASYE or involved in the delivery of the ASYE in the Council, including opportunities offered by the CMSWTP, for example for NQSWs, Supervisors / Assessors and Mentors
- To co-ordinate and facilitate any internal forums concerned with the governance or development of the ASYE
- To co-ordinate the quarterly review meetings and the Internal Moderation Panel
- Provide NQSWs and their assessor with support and advice as / when required, particularly in the event of difficulties
- To work with the Council to provide guidance materials NQSWs and their ASYE Assessor, for example, the ASYE Guidance, Induction and ASYE portfolios.
- Provide links to senior managers including the Principal Social Worker
- Provide links to wider organisational policies and procedures, including People Management
